Background
Lucinda Ohlson is a vibrant director and writer based in Cape Town South Africa. Her work spans from a variety of medium’s, from films, commercials, and online video brand content. Not only is she a director writer but she has also successfully tackled productions.
Her passion for film making and the arts and culture sector started at the age of 6, where she first ventured into art, acting and writing, she has since developed her film making skills and attributes further and has emerged from a strong, arts and performance background, which has benefited her directing abilities, to execute well thought out stories with an authentic, visually engaging and versatile approach.
Lucinda began her trajectory into film after completing her graduate degree program with a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture medium majoring in Directing and writing at AFDA she then later on had the opportunity to direct and assist on commercial’s, music video’s and feature films as trainee director and researcher, for global brands under the mentorship of some of SA’s biggest film and commercial giants.
Lucinda has Directed for esteemed brands such as Allan Gray, Nedbank ,Magnum and Uniliver.
