Bio

Lucinda Ohlson is a South African director with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for visuals. With a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture from AFDA, Lucinda has directed a range of projects, including short films, TV commercials, and music videos. Her work often focuses on universal themes with emotional depth, blending creativity with authenticity. 

Her love for filmmaking began at an early age, influenced by her background in acting, art and writing. The mix of influences gives her a versatile approach to directing, allowing her to tackle different genres, from fantasy and adventure to coming- of-age and documentary. Whether telling an intimate personal tale or creating visually rich, larger-than-life narratives, her films are marked by a thoughtful exploration of concept, character and emotion. 

Throughout her filmmaking journey Lucinda has had the opportunity to work with globally recognized brands such as Allan Gray, Nedbank, Magnum, and Unilever, further honing her craft in the world of visual storytelling.
